Glassworks manufacture all types of connector system for the Rod electrodes and can advise of the most suitable for the relevant application.
All connectors are individually matches to each electrode based on tolerances in order to achieve the best possible electrical connection.
Connector types for block type electrodes
Include the Lateral Plug, Metallic plug, back face and silver rod connectors. Water/ Air cooled pot connectors and the GWE electrode Advancing System.
The position of the electrodes, the current density applied and the connector type are all critical factors in obtaining best results.
