Machining and assembly project
Designed and manufactured in house at Glassworks Hounsell Ltd. All of the components used in this Aluminium Can printing press were designed and manufactured in house by Glassworks Hounsell.
The machine base was fabricated and machined following stress relieving. The trunnion was machined from a casting. All other parts were produced from billet or bar as required. The unit was fully assembled in house at Glassworks Hounsell Ltd.
Plastic injection moulding machine project
Glassworks build these machines both as new and refurbished on a regular basis. The machine produces plastic moulded sauce bottles. All of the components used in this Plastic Injection Moulding Machine were designed and manufactured by Glassworks Hounsell.

Marine vehicle trailer project
Glassworks Hounsell were contracted to build a number of trailers for the DO-DO (Drive On, Drive off) Inshore lifeboat Service. The project was a build and assemble to print process.
Requiring machined components (including rollers, brackets, axles and release mechanisms) in addition to the production of welded fabrications and final assembly of the unit. These trailer units are in service throughout the UK.
