Glassworks Hounsell is pleased to announce that our machining capacity is extending with a new arrival: the DMF Mori CLX 450 mill-tun machine.
It has some noteworthy stats:
• maximum workpiece diameter of 400mm and length of 1,100mm
• 65mm bar capacity diameter
• maximum X-Axis of 750mm
• maximum Y-Axis of 200mm
• maximum Z-Axis of 1,100mm
With these measurements, the machine will undoubtedly assist in reducing production times. In addition, it has an automatic tool changer, meaning shorter set-up times, and its integrated spindle drives achieve high positioning accuracy.
The machine is sure to strengthen our existing fleet, allowing us to continue providing specialist, precision engineering with significantly reduced lead times.
